This website is the property of Big John Online. If you use the site, and / or the purchase products on this site it is subject to your agreement of the terms and conditions set out herein. If you are not in agreement with our terms do not use the site.

Order Processing
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, we endeavour to process orders on the next business day. Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays are excluded as business days.
If payment is not received (reflected in our system) in three days, Orders will be deleted. This is because we cannot hold stock for long periods of time, and if we leave it longer, the item you desired might be sold and cannot be replaced timeously.

Delivery Policy
Delivery in South Africa
If you place your order and immediately pay for it on a business day, we will try our best to ship the following day. Unfortunately, parcels may not leave the premises without payment reflecting in our account. Your order should be delivered in 3-5 business days after the courier service has collected it. We try to use reliable courier services and we do not have control over the delivery period once the couriers have collected it. Deliveries could be delayed for various reasons and Big John Online will not be liable for any consequential loss.
We require that YOU CHECK YOUR DELIVERY BEFORE YOU SIGN for it. Big John Online cannot accept liability for missing, stolen or damaged items unless this is brought to the attention of the delivery company (show courier agent and make the delivery person sign that the parcel is not correct). Please do not sign for your goods until you have physically checked them and are satisfied that the products are all there and also in good condition.

Big John Online uses reliable delivery services. If there is nobody to sign for the package at the given delivery address, you will be phoned on the number you have provided in your Big John Online profile. If you cannot be reached, the delivery will be attempted in the following days. Be very careful when entering your contact details. At the checkout be careful that you do not make any mistakes.

Big John Online supplies delivery to all South African cities and outlying areas or farms. Note however, that outlying areas and farm deliveries may be applicable to additional delivery fees and delivery might take more than 5 business days.
We do NOT have the option for ‘Overnight Express’ or ‘Same day Delivery’ – should you want these services we strongly recommend you send your own courier.
You will receive an e-mail with your tracking number once your parcel is sent to the courier. Note that you can only start tracking your parcel after 17h00 on the day of receiving the e-mail as it takes a few hours for the number to activate. All information needed on tracking your parcel will be provided to you in the e-mail as well. From there on, you will not receive any further communication from Big John Online regarding your delivery. Once your parcel is shipped, you will need to communicate with the couriers for more details.

Delivery outside of South Africa / International Delivery
We do offer the service for international delivery.

Alternatively, send your own courier to collect at the store in Howick. To do this select the “collect at the store” option at the checkout.

Damage or Loss or Defective Products
Big John Online will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your product when couriered.

In the unlikely event that, Big John Online supplies a defective product, we will replace it at our cost or refund the money in full.

Exchange Policy
If you have purchased an item/s and decide you would prefer a different size or a new item/s certain conditions will apply in making an exchange:
1) You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your goods and explain why you would like to return the goods.
2) If the exchange is approved, transport can be arranged for the return.
3) The item/s will be inspected on arrival and provided that it is in perfect condition, ie. all tags are still attached and the item/s have not been worn or washed, the product will be accepted.
4) If the new item/s cost more or less, you will either be given a refund for the difference or billed the difference. Once ready, you will be notified and you may come to collect the exchanged items (or send a courier to come and collect them). Should you want us to courier the exchanged articles to you, the courier costs will be to your account and the parcel will only be handed over to the couriers once the payment for the shipping reflects in our bank account.
If you wish to exchange your order in-store the items must be in their original packaging, tags still attached, unwashed and unworn. If you fail to bring items as requested above, we cannot do the exchange.
OUR REQUEST: Please try your best to order the correct sizes and items to keep exchanges to a minimum. If you are unsure of your size, call us (082 066 7968) and we will assist you in measurements to make sure your garment fits correctly.

Please note that all items on special CANNOT be exchanged or given credit for due to limited stock.

Return and Refunds Policy

If the product is defective, we will either replace the product or refund your money.

Customer Privacy Policy

We don’t like our information shared and promise we will not share yours. We need your shipping address and we need your telephone no to contact you regarding your order.
NOTE: We have no access to your banking details as that is held by the payment gate (Payfast)
Big John Online will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users.
For the purpose of this clause, “Personal Information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Clients may choose to accept promotional material sent by Big John Online or decline notifications. Promotional materials are sent by email, sms or whatapp. This can be chosen when making your purchase.
Prices
Big John Online reserves the right to change prices without any prior notice.
